Joseph studied birds since he was 3
I think he called it Ornithology
Kestrels, Falcons, Herons, Hawks and Wrens
He made big nests for friends instead of dens
And his Dad made him some wings, that the other parents thought absurd
Joseph, the boy who studied Birds.

Joseph never liked to go to school
He thought they taught him nothing about birds
The kids told Joseph, 'liking Birds is sad'
He kept a book of who was good and bad,
But they threw stones at him,
At least it hurt much less than words
